Site Lead Steel Fabrication

Are you an experienced site professional fluent in Mandarin and English? Ready to take on a leadership role in a major infrastructure project?

We’re looking for a Site Lead to oversee steel fabrication activities on-site in China. This is a long-term contract role with excellent rotation and a chance to make a real impact.

The Role

• Position: Site Lead Steel Fabrication (Mandarin Speaking)

• Location: China; Jiangsu province

• Start: End of 2025

• Duration: Minimum 17 months

• Schedule: 60 hours/week, 6 days/week

• Rotation: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations for steel fabrication

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client teams

• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met

• Oversee inspections, documentation, and progress reporting

Requirements

• Fluency in Mandarin and English

• Proven experience in site leadership within steel fabrication or heavy industry

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and HSE standards

• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in China

Desirable

• Experience on international infrastructure projects

• Engineering background in structural or mechanical disciplines
