Job Purpose:
Driving business growth across the Middle East and Africa by developing strategic relationships in the data center industry, including with colocators and hyperscalers. Focused on promoting high-value technology solutions for critical infrastructure through both direct sales and partner networks. Supporting regional visibility, client engagement, and deal execution in coordination with the technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset to proactively engage and build lasting relationships with stakeholders across the data center ecosystem, including contractors, end-users, and engineering firms.
Lead commercial development efforts through both direct sales and channel partnerships across the Middle East and Africa.
Leverage prior experience in selling technical solutions to drive business growth in a complex, solution-focused environment.
Confidently manage and close high-value deals ranging from $500K to $1M.
Maintain a strong presence and network within the data center industry.
Utilize technical knowledge to engage in meaningful discussions with prospects, understanding infrastructure needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
Maintain a target-driven approach with the ambition to exceed commercial goals and contribute to regional market expansion.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in technical sales/business development with successful track record in high-value deals ($500K–$1M)
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to independently drive commercial activities and build lasting client relationships
Recognized presence in the datacenter ecosystem across UAE/MEA (strong network with contractors, engineering firms, end-users)
Hunter mentality with a strong ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the MEA region
Strong technical background to understand and discuss client infrastructure, pain points, and solution fit
Experience promoting technical solutions to datacenter stakeholders: end-users, contractors, engineering companies
Ability to manage and grow indirect sales channels including local partners and distributors
Willingness to travel within GCC (monthly) and across Africa as part of business development efforts
Sales-driven personality – hungry, passionate, and persistent with a clear “Push & Close” attitude
Capable of launching direct and indirect commercial initiatives to support regional growth strategy
Active participation in industry events and tradeshows to build brand presence and uncover leads
