My client based in Portugal, Cadaval and Rio Maior, Portugal (approx. 1 hour from Lisbon) is looking to secure a Quality Civil Works Inspector Starting July 2025 for an 15 month (Full time contract assignment)
The client is are seeking an experienced Quality Civil Works Inspector to support the construction monitoring of a 100 MWp photovoltaic plant. This role is 100% dedicated to civil quality assurance and inspection throughout the entire construction phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections and monitoring of all civil works on site, ensuring compliance with design, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Oversee the execution and quality of works including but not limited to:
Access roads
Trenches
Drainage systems
Earthworks
Foundations
Structural components
Substation civil works
Overhead line (OHL) civil works, including pole foundations
Perimeter fencing
- Document non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
- Liaise closely with EPC contractors and client side project teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate daily reports of on-site inspections.
