Role Overview:
As our reliance on Group IT systems continues to grow, the Infrastructure IT teams are expanding their focus on data security. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various IT Infrastructure and security teams to ensure that data within the business is secured in accordance with current policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of IIROC, SOX processes, and department policies to ensure adherence.
Implement procedures supporting the Data Security function for robust data protection.
Conceptualize, syndicate, and produce periodic risk metrics for diverse views at different levels.
Support audits or regulatory RFIs requiring data analytic actions into connectivity information.
Utilize provided tools to create reports for external and internal auditors.
Understand and manage risks collaboratively with the Cyber Security team.
Stay up-to-date with current processes and best practices in data security.
Key Qualifications:
High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Higher education with a focus on data security.
Certification in Data Security (CISSP, GIAC, PSP, CPP, CEH, CISA, CISM, SANS, ITIL, MCTS).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in data security practices.
Excellent communication and business relationship skills.
