Role Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the reliable operation and implementation of telecom power systems. The role involves delivering high-quality, compliant installations that underpin the performance of mobile network infrastructure across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Install AC and DC power systems for wireless telecom infrastructure
Conduct testing and inspection of installations, producing high-standard certification
Ensure compliance with BS7671 standards and recognised industry practices
Maintain high levels of workmanship and adhere to health and safety regulations
Travel nationwide to various project sites as required
Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge of power supply systems and mobile telecom infrastructure
Previous experience in telecoms or similar engineering sectors
Familiarity with BS7671 and Guidance Note 3 (GN3)
Ability to think logically and work independently under pressure
Excellent decision-making skills and strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting platforms
Full UK driving licence is essential
Required Qualifications
Fully Qualified Electrician (e.g., City & Guilds or equivalent)
18th Edition (BS 7671:2018)
C&G 2391-52 – Inspection & Testing (Initial and Periodic)
Desirable Certifications
C&G 2396 – Electrical Design
C&G 2377 – PAT Testing
Working at Height certification (including medical, RF awareness, and first aid)
