An urgent requirement has become available for a Data Processor / Offline Surveyor for an offshore project based in Taiwan
Employment Type: 3 month contract, 12 hours per day
Mobilisation Date: 27th April 2025
Rate: Negotiable day rate (client to cover expense)
An urgent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Processor/Offline Surveyor to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge marine and offshore energy projects. This role is pivotal in managing, processing, and analysing survey data to support operational strategies and guide decision-making across complex offshore and dredging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage survey datasets, including bathymetric, positioning, and geophysical data obtained from offshore operations.
- Perform detailed data analysis using specialised software to convert raw data into usable insights.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure compliance with both industry and project-specific standards.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and insightful reports in the form of charts, maps, and technical documentation for internal and client use.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a Data Processor or Offline Surveyor role.
- Strong expertise with industry-standard survey and data processing software.
- Proficient in MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
Certifications Required:
- Full GWO (Global Wind Organisation)
- VCA
- BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
- HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
- Shoulder Measurement
- Chester Step Test
- NEBOSH (or equivalent HSE certification)
Profile Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
- A proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work within the designated location.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language proficiencies are a strong advantage.
