Senior BIM Coordinator
Location: Qatar/ Remote
A fast-growing international engineering and construction specialist is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to join its expanding team in Doha, Qatar.
This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge, hyperscale data centre projects across MENA, Europe, and Asia, delivering critical digital infrastructure for global clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead BIM coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
- Manage and maintain federated BIM models across the full project lifecycle
- Perform and oversee clash detection using Navisworks (or similar tools)
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, ISO 19650, and CDE processes
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP), MIDP, and TIDP workflows
- Produce coordination reports, clash reports, and model audits
- Support construction documentation, shop drawings, and as-built models
- Mentor junior BIM staff and modellers
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and issue resolution tracking
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 6–10+ years of BIM coordination experience in construction, engineering, or consultancy
- Strong experience on large-scale projects
- Experience with hyperscale data centres or mission-critical facilities
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following: Autodesk Revit / Navisworks Manage / / BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Solid understanding of:
- BIM workflows, clash detection, model management
- ISO 19650 and Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary coordination (MEP, structural, architectural)
- Knowledge of point cloud / laser scanning integration
- Ability to develop BIM standards and workflows
