Senior Architect

The role:
A rapidly growing international engineering and design consultancy delivering some of the world's most advanced data centre, cloud infrastructure, AI, and mission-critical facilities across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Due to continued growth, are seeking a Senior Architect to play a key role in the design and coordination of large-scale, high-performance infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Architect, you will support the delivery of innovative data centre and mission-critical projects from concept through construction. Working within a multidisciplinary design environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, consultants, and clients to ensure high-quality architectural solutions are delivered on time and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural design and development of mission-critical and data centre projects.
- Produce and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, civil, and BIM specialists.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
- Assist with material selection, technical reviews, and architectural submissions.
- Conduct site visits and construction reviews to ensure design quality and compliance.
- Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation initiatives.
- Support project delivery across multiple phases, from concept design through construction.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
- Approximately 6–10 years' experience within architecture and design consultancy environments.
- Data Centre or Mission Critical design experience.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or technology-focused developments.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, life safety requirements, and international Data center design standards.
- Knowledge of BIM-based project delivery.
- Exposure to international projects and multi-country design teams.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM workflows, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in fast-paced project environments.
