Pre-Sales Engineer | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia



First Point Group is partnering with a leading technology services provider in Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer based in Riyadh.



This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business at the forefront of Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Data Center solutions. Working closely with both customers and the sales team, you will play a critical role in shaping technical solutions, driving customer engagement, and supporting the successful delivery of complex technology projects across the Kingdom.



Key Responsibilities




  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technology solutions.

  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.

  • Design solutions across Cloud, Networking, and Data Center environments.

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer objectives.

  • Support the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to deal closure.

  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring solutions are commercially viable and technically robust.

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging technologies and business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation.

  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.



Requirements




  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Technical Consulting.

  • Strong understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Networking technologies, and Data Center infrastructure.

  • Experience supporting enterprise and government customers is highly advantageous.

  • Relevant Cloud, Networking, or Data Center certifications would be beneficial.

  • Strong presentation, proposal writing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.

  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
