D365 F&O Cloud Developer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Cloud Developer to join a globally recognised technology and digital transformation organisation delivering large-scale enterprise solutions across multiple regions and industries.

This role will play a critical part in the global implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments hosted on Azure Cloud. Working within a highly skilled international team, you will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Azure infrastructure supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.


• Oversee cloud networking, storage, security, governance, and cost optimisation initiatives.


• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.


• Build and manage automation processes and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.


• Administer and support D365 F&O environments across development, testing, UAT, and production landscapes.


• Coordinate environment refreshes, database movements, service updates, and release schedules.


• Monitor system performance, availability, integrations, and overall platform health.


• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to support deployments and resolve complex issues.


• Ensure alignment with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) best practices and release management standards.


• Drive Azure and D365 governance, compliance, and security initiatives.


• Implement security controls including identity management, conditional access, encryption, and access governance.


• Maintain technical documentation, architecture standards, and operational procedures.


• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification.


• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.


• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.


• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect.


• Minimum 5 years' experience in Azure Cloud engineering and administration.


• Minimum 5 years' experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments.


• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud and digital transformation programmes.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Networking, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and related cloud technologies.


• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps and modern CI/CD methodologies.


• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.


• Strong understanding of Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and D365 deployment pipelines.


• Experience supporting large-scale D365 cloud migration initiatives.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.


• Strong Azure IAM / Microsoft Entra expertise.


• Experience working with Azure Data Lake technologies.


• Excellent understanding of cloud governance, security, and operational best practices.
