Role: Consulting Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories and market segments.
- Develop and execute account sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, developers, dealers, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote HVAC solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Technical Sales & Engineering Support
- Analyze customer requirements and design suitable HVAC solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, specifications, and tender submissions.
- Provide technical consultation and product recommendations based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
- Support customers with troubleshooting, technical advice, and after-sales service.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and support.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders.
- Develop long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and account growth.
Project Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Support project handovers and provide technical guidance during implementation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure customer expectations are met.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering.
- Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, specifications, and solution-based quotations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Preferred
- Previous experience within the HVAC, building services, or related engineering industry.
- Experience working with consulting engineers, contractors, and developers.
- Familiarity with HVAC design software and technical documentation tools.
