Business Development Manager – Data Centre & Critical Infrastructure
A leading international infrastructure solutions provider is seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to lead its expansion into the rapidly growing data centre sector.
This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on identifying, developing, and converting opportunities within cooling, water management, and mission-critical systems supporting data centre operations.
You will play a key role in establishing the business as a trusted partner within the data centre ecosystem, working closely with developers, operators, consultants, and contractors across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a structured market entry and growth strategy for the data centre segment
- Identify and qualify projects where infrastructure and mechanical solutions can be specified
- Analyze cooling systems (HVAC, liquid cooling, chilled water) to identify application opportunities
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline across design, construction, and operational phases
- Drive early-stage specification positioning within project designs
- Establish and grow relationships with: Data centre developers & operators, Engineering consultants, Contractors & key project stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to complex infrastructure challenges
- Support technical presentations, proposals, and bid submissions
- Maintain a high level of client engagement (significant regional travel required)

Ideal Profile:
- 5+ years' experience in technical sales / business development within: Mechanical systems, HVAC, Infrastructure or industrial solutions
- Proven track record of developing new markets or segments
- Experience engaging with consultants, contractors, and end users
- Strong ability to combine technical understanding with commercial execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage
