Associate Contract Management – Dubai
Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading multinational Telecommunications organization for an Associate Manager - Contract Management & Supplier Governance professional to join a high-performing Procurement Excellence function.
This role is primarily responsible for contract lifecycle management, contractual governance, compliance oversight, commercial risk management, and supplier contract administration across a diverse supplier portfolio. Working closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Operational stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure that supplier contracts are effectively managed, contractual obligations are met, commercial risks are mitigated, and governance standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management & Governance
- Manage supplier contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle, including drafting support, review, amendments, renewals, and termination.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, procurement, and corporate governance requirements.
- Interpret contractual terms and advise internal stakeholders on rights, obligations, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual commitments and identify areas of contractual risk or non-compliance.
- Maintain contract repositories, governance documentation, and key contract records.
- Support contract dispute resolution, claims management, and contractual escalations where required.
- Administer contractual remedies, service credits, penalties, and other commercial provisions.
Supplier Governance & Risk Management
- Support supplier governance programs and compliance reviews.
- Assess and monitor supplier-related contractual, operational, and commercial risks.
- Support supplier onboarding, qualification, requalification, and offboarding activities.
- Assist with risk mitigation plans, supplier audits, and remediation initiatives.
Procurement Analytics & Reporting
- Produce contract governance, supplier compliance, and performance reports.
- Track contract obligations, renewal dates, risk indicators, and procurement KPIs.
- Analyze supplier and contract data to support informed business decisions.
- Maintain accurate supplier and contract information within procurement systems.
Continuous Improvement & Procurement Excellence
- Support initiatives to improve contract management, governance, and procurement processes.
- Contribute to the development of contract templates, policies, and best-practice frameworks.
- Participate in procurement transformation and automation initiatives.
- Promote consistent contract management and governance standards across the organization.
Supplier Performance Management (Secondary)
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare supplier scorecards, compliance reports, and performance dashboards.
- Support supplier review meetings and governance forums.
- Identify performance issues and track corrective actions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- LLB or LLM qualification is mandatory.
- 8+ years' experience in Contract Management, Commercial Management, Procurement Contracting, Legal Contracts, or Supplier Governance functions.
- Strong understanding of contract law, contract lifecycle management, commercial agreements, and contractual risk management.
- Experience reviewing, negotiating, administering, and managing supplier or commercial contracts.
- Ability to interpret contractual clauses and provide practical commercial and legal guidance to stakeholders.
- Experience managing contract compliance, claims, disputes, service credits, and contractual remedies.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience operating within multinational or matrix organizations.

- WorldCC / IACCM Contract & Commercial Management Certification
